The new iPhone FPS that ngmoco was teasing about last month, Eliminate, is finally in the App Store. What makes this game cool is that apart from looking pretty good for an iPhone game, it's free to play.

Fishlabs had high hopes for the App Store release of Rally Master Pro. It was awarded Best Mobile Game of 2008 by Pocket Gamer, and has since been the subject of talk as far as iPhone racers were concerned. The good news: a lot of people are playing it. The bad news: 95% of those people are playing pirated copies.

OS 3.1.2 went live for iPhones earlier this week, now users will no longer have to worry about their iPhones not waking up from sleep., as well as other bugs found from the previous update. Now that iPhones are wideawake and ready to go, why not check out the week's games?

Love FPS? You might want to check this one out. Ngmoco teases a new first-person shooter, Eliminate, coming exclusively to the iPhone and the iPod Touch. This one reminds me of Golden Eye and Quake, and the graphics look smooth for the platform. See for yourself.

Luxor has been confirmed for release on the iPhone and iPod Touch thanks to a publishing deal between MomboJumbo and ngmoco's Plus+ Publishing arm. It was only a matter of time, really, considering Luxor's popularity with the marble-shooting and puzzle-playing set.

Over the weekend, Rolando developers Ngmoco posted that they had plans to pull the popular game from the App Store. After getting some feedback, they've decided that it may have been a silly thing to do. Why? Learn more after the jump.

Expected to roll into the App Store within the next few weeks, Rolando 2: Quest for the Golden Orchid gets a trailer today. It's nice to see this game has grown so much from its humble beginnings. After the first game, this sequel now uses a quasi-3D side-scrolling perspective. Good job, ngmoco and Hand Circus! I thought I just about seen every kind of tower defense game out there - until, of course, Star Defense. The mechanics are pretty much the same as any other tower defense title, however what makes this new iPhone/iPod Touch game unique is that levels are viewed as full 3D planets, with a Super Mario Galaxy twist!
