The iPhone DevTeam has released a new update for PwnageTool, a tool to jailbreak your iPhone 2G/3G/3GS and iPod Touch 1G/2G. The latest update, available only for Mac OS X users, jailbreaks the latest iPhone OS 3.1.2.

The iPhone DevTeam is back once again to release a new version of their excellent PwnageTool for Mac OS X which now adds OS 3.1 support for the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G.

The iPhone Dev Team is back with another warning concerning updates from 3.1: stay away from any updates to 3.1or else you will not be able to use Ultrasn0w, so please re-read and double check the following warning after the jump.

As promised, the iPhone DevTeam has released the much awaited jailbreak for iPhone OS Firmware 3.0 for both iPhone and iPod Touch users. Unfortunately for Windows users, PwnageTool 3.0 is only available for Mac OS X but QuickPwn for Mac OS X and Windows will be available soon according to the DevTeam.

The RipDev team has released a new version of  InstallerApp.  InstallerApp is a native Mac OS X application that will soon be available for Windows users that allows you to easily download applications for your iPhone from Installer and Cydia directly to your computer.

Whoa. After weeks of so little news for the iPhone, we got a whole slew of news this week. We got homebrew that reaches up to here (no, over here), and we got a whole bunch of new games announced for the platform, including Mega Man, Red Alert, and even Assassin's Creed.

Ripdev presents the very first version of InstallerApp for Mac OS X. It has spent quite some time in the smithy, but now it's forged, ready for use, and we can expect many more versions to come. InstallerApp is basically a Mac OS X tool that acts as a desktop client for Cydia and Installer repositories on your iPhone. Useful? You bet.

Calculators, sudoku apps, stickies, currency converters, dictionaries? Who doesn't love widgets, right? And if you had the chance of getting some form of Mac OS X's Dashboard on your iPhone, wouldn't you want take try it out? Well, we can't try it out since there's no release just yet, but Steven Troughton-Smith (the same guy who developed Stack) has revealed this video showing his latest project, a Dashboard application for the iPhone.

From Ripdev comes JuiceDrop v1.1 for the Mac OS X to make your daily iPhone use a bit more wonderful. What this does is to let you upload any files to your iPhone by just dragging them over the JuiceDrop window. No Wi-Fi needed! No Jailbreaking needed!
