c64 - Image 1After months of controversy, Apple yesterday approved the Commodore 64 Emulator for the iPhone much to the delight of retro gamers. But waking up this morning, the awesome emulator has vanished again from the Apple App Store. More after the jump.

Manomio's C64 emulator - Image 1The folks at iPhone developer Manomio are feeling pretty damn frustrated right now, and with seemingly good reason. They went through all the trouble to actually get their Commodore 64 emulator legally licensed but it still got rejected from Apple's App Store. It wasn't a question of legality, since Manomio had that covered. According to the rejection email, it's because the app violates an iPhone SDK agreement that a number of apps already on the App Store also supposedly violate.
