Let's say you're playing a game on your iPhone, then you get a text message. You want to reply, but you don't want to close your game and go all the way back to the SpringBoard to open the SMS app. Game now, text later? Or text now, ditch game for later? Well, for that little inconvenience, QuickSMS is here. It's basically a replacement for the SMS app, and you can access it simply by pushing the volume up button. The new window opens right away to save the day. Handy eh?

It's also good to know that even if this is a quicker SMS app than the default, QuickSMS has more features than the latter. You get moji icons, emoticons, delay timers, encryption, contact, note, and template insertion. After you send your message, simple press the volume down, or home button to close it.

Like always, it's available in Cydia. UNFORTUNATELY, this is a 14-day trial only, and you're gonna have to pay for the full version. Awwww.
