CocoaMug Software's AdBlock v2.0 is a nice application to add to the stuff already in your jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch. It keeps all those annoying ads that show up while you're browsing in Safari from loading. It's pretty simple to set up too. Just download it from the BigBoss repository through Cydia, boot it up and turn on blocking. AdBlock also lets you configure what language the ads you want to block are in. Crazy, I was just thinking about how the iPhone really needs an adblocking program built-in to help speed up loading times, especially over the constantly degrading EDGE speeds ATT is providing me. Leave it to a third party developer to create something apple should've implemented from the start.

Very good, but would have hoped Apple had shwon interest in ad blockers, it would make me buy a Mac.

Good idea, but doesn't work. I purchased AdBlock for my iTouch. It worked for about a week, then MobileSafari started locking up. Turning off AdBlock did not help. Only uninstalling AdBlock restored MobileSafari functionality. I wouldn't purchase this app until the bugs are worked out.
