Oops!.. they did It again. The iPhone DevTeam is back in the scene to release a video demonstration of the upcoming ultrasnow, a new yellowsnow software to unlock iPhone 3G running on 3.0 official firmware.

The DevTeam plans to release the jailbreak this Friday. So what about the new iPhone 3G S you might asked? Well since it runs on the same baseband version, the DevTeam says it might be possible to jailbreak but nothing is official for now so stay tuned for further updates.

» Wrong news and old news

This was reported on their blog a month ago and the jailbreak was due to be released on wednesday, the only thing scheduled to be released on Friday was the unlocker.

» Actually you say running on same baseband

if that was the case it would be 100% unlockable but still 0% chance of knowing if its going to be able to be jailbroken or not since baseband has nothing to do with jailbreaking it. It has to do with unlocking your phone to use with T-Mobile or other unauthorized carriers.

 » Um.

According to the QuickPWN website. Ultrasn0w is the unlocking program and it needs a jailbreak, and Ultrasn0w is being released on Friday, but the QuickPWN website said they don't know when the jailbreak will be released. Unlocking means to use it with another phone service. Jailbreaking, obviously, does not.
