Of all the places to find potential gaming news, it had to be on a model's blog (via Kotaku). International model Jacquetta Wheeler posted in her Vogue blog account (yes, models get to blog in Vogue, us mere mortals in myspace) that she saw Beaterator in actual play ... in an iPhone.

Apple Insider is "independently confirming" that there will be a media event happening on Wednesday, September 9th, hosted by Apple, for them to launch their new lines of iPods, along with a bevy of other music-related announcements.

With barely five days left until GamesCom, Sony has apparently been slapped with another major leak today as news broke about the price of PSP games for the rumored PSN App Store. According to Pocket Gamer, the upcoming PSP games will be priced at 1, 2 and 5 euros (US$ 1.43, US$ 4.28 and US $7.14), which is equivalent to games available in the Apple App Store.

Netflix video streaming has been rumored to be headed for the Nintendo Wii console before, and now here's another rumor saying that the service will be launched not only on the Wii but on Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch devices as well.

For the longest time, Dead Space: Extraction has been known to be exclusive for the Wii. That is now about to change, so it seems, as Electronic Arts teased at the Comic-Con that it is Wiixclusive "right now."

Don't get your hopes up too high yet. This is just a video of what is supposedly an iPhone version of Valve's critically-lauded game, Portal. Just like the Resident Evil 4 game we saw a few days ago the authenticity of the video has already been brought into question. The RE4 game ultimately ended up to be real. This one's still up in the air, but real or not, it certainly looks pretty damn good.
