Rolando - Image 1

Over the weekend, Rolando developers Ngmoco posted that they had plans to pull the popular game from the App Store. After getting some feedback, they've decided that it may have been a silly thing to do. Why?

According to the blog post, Ngmoco simply wanted to see how the sequel, Rolando 2, would do in terms of sales without having to compete with the original. As a result, the original Topple will also find its way back on the store.

We did not intend to deprive you of the ability to re-download or update our games. Rather, we had wanted to learn how well Rolando 2 would do at launch without the competition generated by its predecessor.

The App Store is an entirely new animal, and we’re always learning what it takes to deliver what you want. So we’ve learned.

That’s why we have decided not to remove Rolando from the App Store, and it is why Topple will return.

That's that for this little issue, so now you can still download the original Rolando for your iPhone and iPod Touch.

Tried this one yet?
