It's another jailbreak! The latest v2.2.1 firmware that Apple rolled out for the iPhone and iPod Touch the other day has now been countered. The iPhone Dev-Team went on crunchtime as soon as the update went live (let's hope you didn't update your system yet!), and making true their promise, they've now released PwnageTool v2.2.5 and QuickPwn v2.2.25.

Here's a simple, but useful brew for your iPhone. WiggleFree basically keeps your icons from wiggling. What makes that useful? Apparently, those wriggling icons actually slow the user interface down, and stopping the wriggling will devote more process usage to more important iPhone functions than squirming icons.

Here's a cool brew for your iPhone. TalkMe adds a text-to-speech function into your iPhone that'll actually read your SMS messages aloud. More info inside.

v2.2.1 of this iPhone homebrew just got released. It's Pusher by RiP Dev, and this nifty brew unlocjs the filesystem of your iPhone and puts installer.app and a bunch of other goodies into your phone.

Remember Clippy? The little homebrew app that added a copy and paste function to the iPhone? Well, there's a new Clippy version out, and it packs quite a few additional features including a clipboard stack where you can save the text that you copy for later pasting.

Apple iPhone School reports that there seems to be a new Cydia update out. No huge changes spotted so far, but there have been a few little tweaks. Details are available in the full article.

I'm perfectly fine with the good-old QWERTY keyboard. Some people might like to add a little flavor to their typing experience, though. That's where this new iPhone app comes in. This app turns the iPhone's boring yet familiar QWERTY keyboard into a Colemak keyboard, an alternative keyboard layout that's supposed to be tightly optimized for touch typing.

If you're looking for a little extra security for your iPhone, you might want to try out mAdvLock from the same people who made MCleaner. It's an app that locks other apps (system apps, App Store stuff, and app you got from Cydia) with a password. It also encrypts and hides a variety of files including documents, photos, and other types of media and comes with an anti-theft function.

ReflectiveDock is a quick way to give your iPhone or iPod Touch a reflective dock without having to fiddle around with ssh. Pretty much the only fiddling you'll need to do with this app is adding a new Cydia source: david.ashman.com/apt/.

The ability to copy and paste text is a feature that a lot of iPhone  and iPod Touch users want. Since Apple wouldn't give it, here's the homebrew community to the rescue. Yep, copypasta has come to the iPhone and iPod Touch thanks to a free app called Clippy.
