IIt surely would look a lot like Christmas very soon if this groovy plan pushes through. Word has it that the infamous iPhone hacker ZodTTD is set to give all you N64 fans a sweet treat very soon. Yes, you read that right. "iPhone" and "N64" in one sentence.

The iPhone hack scene was no doubt very busy this week, seeing the release of Blackra1n and the latest update for PwnageTool and all. It seems that Apple, too, had been very busy trying to rid themselves of the jailbreak problem - and it appears that they have been successful, for now at least. No Ra1n or shine pineapple is getting past its security this time, but for how long? Extra, extra, read all about it.

This was bound to happen sooner or later. The new iPhone 3GS units have been armed by Apple with security so tight, a jailbreak can't break in.

Homebrew developer GeoHot has released Blackra1n, a new jailbreak utility for the recently released iPhone OS 3.1.2. This tool promises to jailbreak all OS 3.1.2 iPhone and iPod Touch models in a matter of seconds.

Some iPhone 3.0 users have voiced out that they've been receiving random IMs seemingly meant for other people. Users thought at first that the push notification system Apple had added in 3.0 was broken. It turns out, however, that they broke it themselves by unlocking their iPhones.

The iPhone Dev Team is back with another warning concerning updates from 3.1: stay away from any updates to 3.1or else you will not be able to use Ultrasn0w, so please re-read and double check the following warning after the jump.

Grant Imahara, eat your heart out! ...Ok, maybe not, but this could potentially give the MythBusting robotics dude some ideas, at least. A huge bug's been found in version 5.8 of the iPhone 3G Bootloader. And as any dutiful brewer would do, GeoHot checed it out to see how far he can exploit it and found that this bug could actually let him downgrade the Baseband. And let him, it did!
